Chronology of cameras Ouyama - New Taiwan Photographic Corporation
Ouyama is also known as New Taiwan Photographic Corporation (NTPC). Like those of Formosa Plastics Corporation (FPC), NTPC's products are plastic, of poor quality (from a photographic perspective), and are found under multiple names, often used as promotional gifts. The Canomatic is representative of this manufacturer. It appears that FPC manufactured for NTPC.

Finally, a fun version among Taiwanese junk camera. It's lively, but still just as pointless.
The large rectangular section next to the lens looks like an autofocus motor, even though there isn't one at all...
The window above the lens makes it seem like there's a zoom function, but there's absolutely nothing.1
There are two viewfinders. The direct viewfinder, visible on the right, might actually be useful. The second, a waist-level viewfinder, is located on the large rectangular section. Its window is positioned above the flash. Of course, it isn't corrected, and the image is reversed left to right—assuming you can see anything at all.
Added to all this are the usual gimmicks, like the lead weight in the base to make it heavier and appear more serious.
This particular example has a patent number (PAT. 25250) inscribed inside the back door, but my research on this patent led nowhere. Could it be as fake as most of this camera's features?
1 This window actually displays one of four aperture values: f/6.3, f/8, f/11, or f/16. There really is a bladed diaphragm—with a square opening!
